We recognise that many of the big challenges we face, in the areas of health, the environment, sustainable development and more, will only be resolved if people change their behaviours and adopt more healthy and socially responsible lifestyles.
Enforcing change on people, through regulation and legislation, will only work so far. We need to start with our customers in mind and find ways to encourage and support them to change on their own behalf.
The latest thinking in marketing and the behavioural sciences allows us to develop a sophisticated understanding of what drives people’s behaviour. With this insight, and a customer focus, we can develop targeted and valued interventions and programmes that will help steer or nudge behaviour change in the desired direction.
We recognise that at a time of increasingly severe cuts to budgets and staff, many organisations will be searching for ways to enable their staff to operate more efficiently and effectively. Public facing organisations need to be smarter in designing and commissioning services that will be valued and used by their customers.
