Typically, our campaigns and interventions follow this process:

  • Studying the audience: to establish what a successful campaign or intervention might look like, we gather insight on the communities that will be targeted. This often involves speaking directly to people to find out what would work for them.
  • Intervention approach: drawing on the insight and behavioural objectives. We take the necessary time to establish the best / feasible intervention options to develop. 
  • Messaging: we can then begin to create relevant messages based on the insight we have gained, ensuring that we can speak to the audience on their level.
  • Branding, design, and development: next, we begin to create a campaign brand, with the relevant messaging in mind. This could include designing logos, a website, social media content, briefing packs, and promotional toolkits.
  • Creative Testing: while developing a campaign, we co-design / carry out creative testing of branding, creative concepts and messaging to make sure they will resonate with and motivate the target audience
  • Implementation: SMG work as an extension of your team. We’ll keep you in the loop as we launch a campaign or intervention, based on a detailed marketing and communications strategy.
  • Delivery: using the most effective means of reaching the target communities, we handle the day-to-day running of the campaign or intervention. This could include content publishing, advertising campaigns, managing social media channels, running events, or traditional methods such as printing leaflets and posters.
  • Evaluation: we continuously evaluate campaigns and interventions against a carefully chosen mix of metrics, refining our work as we go to ensure they drive meaningful results. We can provide a full suite of reporting outputs, from concise headline summaries and updates to in-depth, informative reports and presentations.
